2007-2008 All-Health Team Award Ceremony
Lucas McFadden of WIS-TV hosted the 2007-2008 annual award ceremony. Nathalie Stewart of W.G. Sanders Middle provided entertainment. Two presentations were given by two South Carolina initiatives, Rage Against the Haze, an anti-tobacco movement and Eat Smart Move More….SC, healthy eating and active living initiative.
Blythewood High School took the first place gold award and $5,000 from among eight youth based preventive health projects. The second place silver of $3,000 went to DIVA, Incorporated for it’s healthy lifestyle project and third place bronze of $2,000 went to Lancaster High School for it’s skin cancer awareness project.
One honorable mention of $500 was given to Estill Elementary for its asthma awareness project.
